In the early stages of development, cameras generally featured a bellows structure. In addition to extending and retracting for focusing, they also had powerful shift capabilities. The front assembly with the lens and the rear assembly with the film could move relative to each other in all directions, such as shifting left, right,up,and down, tilting, swaying, bending, etc. This enabled a variety of special effects. These functions were omitted when cameras became more compact, and only partially implemented in tilt-shift lenses.

With mini view cameras, contemporary digital SLRs,mirrorless cameras, digital backs, etc.,combined with lenses that have a large image circle and rear flange distance, such as traditional large format and medium format film camera lenses, macro lenses, industrial lenses, etc.,the same powerful functions can be achieved.

The TCS20 modular mini view camera is one of the smaller models in the series. It can use digital SLR or mirrorless backs to connect large and medium format lenses or dedicated lenses, achieving various shift effects of large format technical cameras. Suitable for commercial photography, architectural photography,wide-format landscape photography, and other scenarios.

Functions of mini view cameras:
1,The front and rear assemblies can tilt in all directions (TILT),using the Scheimpflug principle to control focus, creating miniaturized landscape effects or ensuring clarity at both near and far distances, widely used in commercial photography.
2,The front and rear assemblies can shift horizontally or vertically (SHIFT),controlling perspective distortion, allowing for undistorted architectural photography.
3,Utilizing the large image circle of large and medium format lenses, using DSLR or mirrorless bodies or backs to perform horizontal and vertical shifts to take multiple photos, then PS stitching to achieve single-point perspective with over a billion pixels.
4,Can be used as a close-up bellows for macro enlargement, easily achieving magnification greater than 1:1.
