The ND8pro positions a camera along three axes: front to back, side to side and vertically. It combines a longer focusing axis with two shorter alignment axes for macro photography and controlled close-up framing.
Independent three-axis positioning
Front-to-back travel is 120 mm; lateral and vertical travel are 60 mm each. All three axes use 4 mm lead screws. The dual-diameter controls change the grip diameter rather than the transmission ratio.

Position holding and mounting
Secure the vertical position with its lock after adjustment and release the lock before moving again. The load capacity is 5 kg, including vertical use. The upper camera clamp and base use Arca-type interfaces; the base also has three 1/4-inch mounting threads.

Manual focus stacking
The front-to-back axis can move the camera between exposures while the lateral and vertical axes refine framing. Choose focus-stacking intervals according to magnification and depth of field, and combine the photographs in post-processing. The stage does not automate exposure or stacking.
