The S2102 is an aluminum-alloy lens board with a nominal 50 mm opening for an Ilex No. 3 shutter installation on a SWEBO mini view camera.
Match the shutter opening
Ilex No. 3 and Copal No. 3 use different mounting dimensions. This board is not a Copal No. 3 board; the latter normally requires a 65 mm opening. Check the actual Ilex shutter version, mounting shoulder and retaining ring before assembly.
Mechanical installation
Secure the shutter with the correct retaining hardware and check rear clearance through the intended movements. The board supports the lens mechanically; it does not operate the shutter or add electronic control.
