The S2284 mounts the TC18 bellows directly to the rail when the shift module is removed. It provides a simpler mechanical arrangement for close-up and macro configurations that do not require that shift module.
Direct bellows mounting
The adapter replaces the intervening shift-module connection in the supported TC18 arrangement. Removing that module also removes its movement function; the remaining adjustments are determined by the rest of the camera assembly.
Configuration photographs
The photographs show the adapter alone and installed with camera and lens equipment. They illustrate the mounting relationship rather than a complete equipment set. Check the mating TC18 interfaces before changing the assembly.
