About SWEBO
Overlooked details
are why I persist.
SWEBO develops view cameras and mechanical photographic tools for people who want direct control over the image they make.

A viewpoint expressed through mechanics.
Our work connects camera movements, focusing controls and interfaces into usable photographic systems. The design begins with a practical question: what needs to move, how should it be controlled, and what must hold its position?
A foldable crank, a separate quick-tilt axis or an independently controlled standard matters when it changes how the photographer can work.
Explain the decision.
We describe the mechanism and its purpose, along with its configuration and limitations. A scale division is not a promise of measured accuracy. An interface is not a claim that every lens will work. Clear distinctions help photographers choose equipment with confidence.

From 4×5 film cameras and digital mini view cameras to composition heads, focusing rails and modular connections, the range addresses different parts of the same process: viewpoint, perspective, focus and framing.
