• Innovative dual axis tilt (pitch) design: solves the trade off between large diameter worm gears (high precision but limited travel and slow adjustment) and small diameter worm gears (greater travel but heavy operation and increased backlash). The dual axis solution makes positioning both easier and more accurate,while avoiding the limited travel and slow action typical of large crescent type worm wheels.
• Fast axis + micro adjust axis: two parallel,independent tilt axes work together — use the fast axis to move quickly to an approximate angle,then the micro adjust axis for precise fine tuning. This dual axis cooperation enables smooth,accurate adjustments and reduces operator fatigue.
• Expanded tilt range: enables 90° downward (shooting straight down) and 67° upward tilt.
• Precision horizon module: combined with the micro adjust horizon module,the SWEBO Cube allows exact alignment of the horizon or architectural lines.
• Improved micro adjust geometry: compared with the previous ND2 single axis design,the micro adjust axis on the SWEBO Cube is positioned closer to the camera optical axis,improving stability and reducing parallax and induced torque during fine adjustments.
• ND2 replacement and improvements: the SWEBO Cube fully replaces the ND2 model while addressing ND2’s known shortcomings (single small diameter worm wheel,difficult tilt operation,insecure locking and potential backlash).
• Panorama support: thanks to its precise leveling capability,an S64 panorama module or an ND10 worm gear controlled panorama module can be mounted on top for multi row or stitched panorama capture.
• Tripod mounted continuous use: the 360° panoramic base includes a 3/8″ threaded hole. With multi axis adjustment available,the SWEBO Cube is suitable for long term mounting as a fixed (hung) head for studio or field use.
• Arca Swiss compatibility: accepts standard Arca Swiss style quick release plates for broad tripod head and plate ecosystem compatibility.
