The TCxy provides independent horizontal shift and vertical rise/fall at both standards. It is a shift-only mini view camera: the lens and camera planes remain parallel, with no tilt or swing movements.
Parallel movements for framing and stitching
Each standard provides ±30 mm of horizontal shift and ±30 mm of vertical rise/fall. For architecture, shift lets the camera remain level while adjusting framing. Rear shift can also support multi-frame stitching, within the coverage of the lens image circle.
The movements use 4 mm lead screws with self-locking support and additional locks. Secure the selected position before exposure. The rear standard can be reoriented by 90° for portrait or landscape use.

Focusing and modular assembly
A 100-division dial and folding crank provide a reference increment of 0.04 mm per division with the 4 mm lead screw. This is travel indicated by the scale, not a measured accuracy specification.
The standard assembly uses a 250 mm rail and four-fold bellows. The TCxy shares the TCM18 rail platform and adds shift modules to the front and rear. Major components assemble without tools.

Matching the optical path
Use lens boards and rear adapters matched to the lens and camera interface. The available image circle, flange distance and bellows clearance limit movements and focusing range. A larger nominal sensor format alone does not establish compatibility.
