The LS23 is a compact macro positioning rail with a trapezoidal lead screw and thrust bearings. Its dual-diameter control offers two ways to grip the same screw-driven mechanism.
Two grip diameters, one drive
Use the smaller grip for rapid turning and the larger rim for finer hand control. Both operate the same screw ratio; they are not separate coarse and fine transmission stages.

Mounting orientation
The upper Arca-type clamp can be removed and refitted in four directions to suit the camera or lens plate. The base has an Arca-type profile and three 1/4-20 threaded mounting holes.

Manual close-up positioning
The 120 mm travel range allows the camera to be positioned along the optical axis. For focus stacking, move the camera between exposures and choose intervals that overlap the available depth of field. Image capture and stacking remain separate operations.
