The SLTApro-t2 is a 20 mm erecting eyepiece for using an astronomical telescope for upright terrestrial observation. Its independent focusing adjustment helps establish a comfortable, focused view.
Magnification and optical construction
Magnification is the telescope focal length divided by 20 mm. For example, a telescope with a 400 mm focal length gives 20× magnification. The eyepiece uses seven optical-glass elements in three groups in a metal housing.
Thread and focusing compatibility
The mounting interface is an M42×0.75 female thread. A matching thread alone does not guarantee that the telescope can reach focus; check the complete optical spacing and available focusing range.
Ordinary SLR lenses cannot generally be adapted with a simple mechanical ring. Some lenses with a matching rear M42×0.75 interface and sufficient focusing range may work, but require an individual compatibility check.
Observation
Mount the optical assembly securely on a tripod before observation. Never look at the Sun through this eyepiece or the connected optical system.
