TC18 brings front and rear camera movements to studio photography. For still life and product work, adjust the lens and camera independently to refine perspective, composition and the plane of focus. Its modular construction lets you configure the system around the subject and the equipment you use.
Both standards provide tilt and swing through ±20°. Loosen the lock, move the standard by hand, then lock it in position. Horizontal shift and vertical rise/fall each provide ±35 mm of movement on both standards, driven by 4 mm lead screws for controlled adjustments. The shifts are self-locking; locking after adjustment is recommended for added security.
The focusing rail uses a micrometer-style knob divided into 100 increments. Unfold the integrated crank for quicker travel, or turn the knurled rim for fine adjustment. When folded, the crank preserves the knob's continuous outline and knurled grip. The standard 4 mm lead gives 0.04 mm of travel per division, with an optional 1 mm lead giving 0.01 mm per division. These are scale increments, not measured positioning accuracy.
Modules separate and reassemble without tools. The standard 250 mm rail and four-fold bellows work with separately selected lens boards and camera interfaces. A protective case is included for storage and transport. The rear assembly supports a 90° change between landscape and portrait orientation.
Beyond a single frame, keep the lens fixed and shift the rear standard to capture overlapping images for stitching, within the lens's image circle. The bellows also supports close-up work, with achievable magnification determined by the lens and extension.

Lens board and camera bayonet mount or digital-back interface are selected separately. Camera, lens, tripod head and tripod are not included. Compatibility depends on the selected interfaces, bellows and lens.
