The TCS20 brings controlled camera movements into a compact system for outdoor photography. Front tilt and swing help place the plane of focus, while rear shift and rise/fall adjust composition for landscapes and architecture. Keep the lens stationary and shift the rear standard between overlapping frames to create wider views in stitching software, within the coverage of the selected lens.
Worm drives provide front tilt of ±15° and swing of ±20°. Their self-locking action holds the setting without a separate locking step. At the rear, lead screws control horizontal and vertical movement through ±30 mm on each axis. These movements are self-locking, with locking levers available for additional security.
The standard rail focuses by moving the camera end. Its micrometer-style dial has 100 divisions and a fold-away crank: unfold it for larger adjustments, or turn the knurled rim for fine control. The standard 4 mm lead gives 0.04 mm of travel per division; an optional 1 mm lead gives 0.01 mm per division. These are scale increments, not measured positioning accuracy.
For transport, separate the front standard, rear standard, focusing rail and bellows into four modules and pack them in the included protective case. Disassembly and reassembly require no tools, making the system easier to carry and set up on location.
Choose your focusing rail
Three dedicated TCS20 rail configurations are available:
Rear lead-screw focusing: the standard configuration, with a micrometer-style dial and fold-away crank.
Front lead-screw focusing: moves the lens end, with the same dial, crank and 0.04 mm or optional 0.01 mm increments.
Front rack-and-pinion focusing: the smallest and lightest of the three configurations, suited to outdoor work where portability takes priority.
Changing the focusing end requires the corresponding rail module. The two front-focusing configurations are optional.
